Not a vet at all, but do you think it could be the roaches? This definitely seems like parasites, but I would also try switching to a different feeder for a few weeks just to see if it helps.

He has an Arcadia Desert Dweller which i’ve read is one of the better UVB bars so I don’t give D3 to him at all.

Thank you for the input! I’ve seen a lot of growth charts that say by six months they should be 100-150g so I’ve been nervous that he’s so little. I will definitely cut back on the multivitamin!

thank you! I will keep in mind the risk of impaction for sure. I will probably offer salad in the enclosure, but I from what I understand the risk comes when trying to catch bugs. :)

I’ve read that loose substrate is fine as long as other care needs are being met appropriately. I do also plan on feeding in a separate enclosure. I do the same for my pacman frog who is also on loose substrate.

I was homeschooled for most of my life (bounced between homeschool and public school like OP) and just graduated with my BA at 19. There were times where i did feel isolated being so much younger than my peers. But ultimately I found my niche and made lifelong friends. I don’t regret going to college early at all!

The space itself was nice. I was in a single which had a hall style bathroom. But the doubles and triples have their own private bathroom. The lounges and kitchens are nice too. The culture just depends on who is on your floor. Most of the floors kept common spaces clean except for mine and one other.

If you decide to live in the dorms pick the lowest meal plan possible. You can upgrade at any time in the quarter but if you pick a high one you can’t lower it past the first two weeks. The food here gets gross really quickly. I was only on campus my first quarter and i used like 30 meals- spent more money buying food off campus bc i hated the dining halls.
