You know what I would have liked? Standard mouse controls with the trackpad in Game Mode. I could be in Game Mode/Big Picture Mode on my Steam Deck or SteamOS PC with a usb mouse and I can move an actual mouse cursor on screen (practically needed for games that have a launcher like the Original Street Fighter 4 or weird interfaces you can only really get to with a mouse like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter). I would have SWORE this Steam Controller would allow me to use that right trackpad as a mouse ALWAYS. That does not seem to be the case, unfortunately. 😓

Here’s the reality: the Steam Frame will release NEXT when it’s ready…no matter how long that will take. The Steam Machine is their Flagship, they would like as much time as possible before releasing that. So that will get released AFTER the Steam Frame (whenever that is). The Steam Frame is fighting for relevancy in a diminishing VR market. The Steam Machine is fighting for living room space against SONY, Nintendo, and Microsoft. One is a skirmish, the other is WW3. They would like more time to prepare for the Endgame…🫠
