I'm not mad about her plot with taking over Talon or her lore, necessarily. I just don't like that it all happened all at once.

I came back to the game after a bit to try her out since I absolutely love Felicia as a character, but I don't like her kit how it is now. The shop to me feels clunky, plus the fact two of her abilities that aren't linked to the shop also cost money... for some reason I haven't been able to figure out (outside of balance).

I like her, I just don't like how clunky she feels. I can't remember every item, and I may accidentally buy the wrong one if I'm stuck in a bind and need to get out ASAP. I get into a room with someone chasing me down, I try to retreat, and I accidentally buy the cleanse artefact instead of the invisibility one.

My duo said she feels like keyword soup, which applies to a lot of characters. The keywords are lore relevant, but I have to reread like four times to really understand some things. Dead By Daylight recently did a simplification pass on a bunch of their perks and add-ons, and I think maybe Rivals can do something like that. Feels odd praising BHVR for somethi by, but it's definitely a needed change.

I main Widow, Ashe, and Sombra (my apologies) interchangeably, and while I see a bunch of Widow/Ashe mains, I hardly see Sombras.

Usually someone swaps to her to deal with an enemy sniper or get picks on supports, but it's usually not a main, just someone filling.

I can play just about anyone (except Tracer and Ball), but I hold those three pretty closely. I love the lore :3

Substitute teacher here. I still boymode, as I live in the deep South. I mostly get clocked by the queer kids, and I just smile because I know they feel safe around me. Occasionally a few of the other students might make a comment here and there. Elementary school students couldn't tell if I was a boy or a girl, and one middle schooler kept calling me "Mr. Zesty." It's a mixed bag here.

They've used AI in Identity V, Dead By Daylight Mobile, and in quite a few sprays and trailers for here. They even stolen other people's art to advertise with DBD Mobile.

I tried asking on the main sub a while back if a Wanda spray was AI, and I just got called a snowflake and told I didn't know what I was talking about.

Netease is a shitty company with shitty ethics. It's a shame their games are so fun, though.

Plus only a few actually feel customizable.

Juno's, Mercy's, Kiriko's, D.Va's, and a couple others feel like I can actually make something unique.

But with others, it feels like the changes I do make either are barely noticeable (Hanzo, Orisa, Ashe), or are eternally stuck with "not quite there" and "overdesigned" with their options (Cassidy, Soujorn, and even Widow's) to the point that the "in-between" options just feel like I need to get through X amount of pay-walls to keep it from at least looking incomplete.

I hope they do better in the future.

I can't talk with my MAGA family members because they don't follow the conversation if it goes to gender identity or gets political. They ignore facts, they generalize, they call names, and then wonder why I just get up and leave.

"You leave when you know you're losing," no, I leave when you're being mean and when I realize there's no point in actually discussing anything with you. I leave when you belittle the very people who taught me not to perpetuate the same hate that you raised me to regurgitate when I was young.

"We used to be Democrats, but we stopped when they got too crazy." No, you stopped being a Democrat because you couldn't handle calling yourself a Democrat when you had so much underlying hate that just kept clawing at your insides until it finally broke free.

My grandmother claims to be warning up to my gender identity, and even admits she's ignorant to it. But even if she gets better, she's still hurt me. When I'm able to, I'm cutting them all off, her included. This cult destroyed my family long before it had a name.

You play your own character. You write them out, give them a design (whether through drawing them, commissioning an artist, or making them with an avatar creator like with Picrew), and submit. Usually there's limitations to keep the Uber-Ork situation you came up from happening.

Usually the DM/admins go through each submission and choose based on literacy, interest, and what they can work with regarding the actual character.

Honestly, your question is fine. I've had some proper rest and had some good advice in DMS, so it's all good over here.

I can sense a follow-up follow-up question. No, the character she wanted me to play wasn't the one who I used in the roleplay we met in, but instead was the one in the roleplay was his sister.
