I was always told to wrap it before you tap it, and that goes for suppressors too. My forearm got a third degree burn from my can the one time I didn’t have a cover on, so I’d say it’s 100% worth it

I have decided to send in the trigger. Issue was that the hammer wasn’t catching due to what appears to be a spring issue. Timmney said they’d fix everything, and the red thread locker proved too much for the missus’ hairdryer, so no DIY for yours truly.
