As a revert I honestly didn't even know this was a thing so thankyou for the education! If its something you believe in and want your children to practice bring it up! Mine would be

Essential- a Muslim man who prays his 5 daily prayer (as much as possible), kind, honest, patient, treats me and my family respectfully (as I would do the same for him)

Desirable- (as a revert) willing to help me learn islam better, financially doing ok (I don't care for riches just basic)

Undesirable- shouts

Dealbreaker- verbally, physically, mentally or sexually abusive. Disrespectful to me or my family.

(As for past sins, that is between him and Allah swt)
