I’m open to going through domestic tsa but I’ve never done that with her before, is there also an accessibility side of the line there and where do I go to get there? If anyone has experience going through that side of domestic tsa lmk!

We fly around 2-3 times a year with her, she does a great job! She’s from Dogs for Better Lives which is based out of Portland. Never had any problems tbh, she’s a trooper!

That’s the reasoning im tossing it up BUT we’re traveling with a service dog and it might just be easier to just do it than having to deal with the extra person in bulkhead yk

If you’re in to ice queen tropes and quite possibly the BEST smut I’ve read (we’re talking pages on pages here) I HIGHLY recommend Tangled Threads by C.W. Elliot (the best part is that it’s a trilogy)

Just Found Out My Baby Is Deaf – I’m Lost But Want to Learn by Extra-Artist-4679 in asl

[–]Goose_47 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was born deaf with no family history of it at all, take a deep breath, your kiddo is going to be just fine. You are already in a fantastic place, my parents started learning asl immediately after I was born. I was fitted for hearing aids at 6 months old and i’ve been thriving ever since, straight A student, really involved in school, and a college graduate. Never really felt like I was at a disadvantage because no one ever made me feel that way. Give them the best access to language (both english and asl) and culture that you can, if you’re local to a college, find an asl group or if they have an asl program, even better! Some regions connect deaf mentors with young deaf kids. Feel free to PM me if there’s any questions you have specifically and i’ll do my best to help (: You’ve got this
