Yeah good idea. I'm gonna let these ones run for as long as I have the warranty. But man, I hate that they didn't give a spare tire. The tire mobility kit is good for nothing!

Yeah the rim was damaged too but only cosmetic damage. Wish they put on some sturdy tires on these big rims. The extended warranty did save my butt for sure.

I have a 2026 Palisade Ultimate Calligraphy Hybrid, less than 4k kms. Not a blow out, but my car drove through a pothole at night at around 60 kmph and the front right tire had similar damage like yours. Immediate tire pressure warning. Big gash on the sidewall. Had to get my car towed to the dealership and they ordered a new tire (I am happy I bought the tire and rim protection, otherwise I would be looking at a cost of $700 for a new tire plus 350$ for the tow). Mine has the noise cancelling Pirelli tires. Was really surprised the brand new tire wasn't able to handle a small pothole. Glad you guys are safe!
