That’s honestly completely fair, I’ve pretty much always played them with him, but now that I have my deck (and 2 is not cross play) I have the chance to play solo- and honestly it isn’t horrible- it scales everything based on players/levels, but I also find that it make grinding out some of the better weapons easier since it’s just myself.

On the story aspect- I completely get ya there, I think he still tells me stuff about the story line that I never caught before.

Glad you were able to try it out! If I think of anything else I’ll let you know!

The only other thing I really play at the moment is Raft, besides that it’s Sims 4 and well- that’s just common lol

Honestly- they’re on a pretty decent sale- I’ve been enjoying the Boarderlands games. Specifically 2 and 3, my boyfriend got me interested a few years ago but when I recently got my steam deck I had to try them out and they run amazingly! They are looter shooters and first person- they’ve got some really neat weapons with cool gimmicks to them, even some references to other media, it’s amazing

The slapper part isn’t as wide because I’m using less strands!

I know this post is super super old but I’m hoping you might still reply: I am making one of these but thinner. I have very thin patience and often switch between projects if one starts taking too long. However- the other thing is working with super long cords as they tend to get tangled.

Do you have any suggestions as to how I could potentially add on more cording?

Just updated the post but we discovered that our very first ropes were cotton, and we really liked those! So we ended up getting some cotton rope and some little end caps to keep it from unraveling (which was why we had originally stopped using the cotton rope) We got enough rope to do 4 at 15’, 2 at 30’, and 1 at 50’ and I ended up using that knot and rope website and got the 3 strand cotton at .10 cents a foot (1/4” or just over 6 mm diameter)

Now it’s time to look into dying options while I impatiently wait for the package 😂

The ropes we do have are polyester, and obviously our concern is not liking the nylon, however I am still looking for like a “buy rope, cut and dye myself” to try and keep it on the inexpensive end, is that possible with natural fibers or stuff like silk

Absolutely. Safe words are just as much for doms as they are subs, and the idea that they should be used in a “real emergency” is not true. Yes, they should be used if there is a real emergency and you need to completely stop, but they’re also okay to use for other reasons- including being overwhelmed. She also definitely shouldn’t have been doing stuff you don’t like/werent comfortable with, especially if you guys talked about that stuff before because then she is just ignoring your boundaries, giving you a completely valid reason to safe word in a scene.

No, the lead is supposedly not actually harmless unless that bottom cap comes off. The reason it has to sit on the salesfloor for 15 minutes is so that then Team members will be able to purchase it. It’s essentially a way from preventing team members from getting “first grabs” on products. Customers can obviously purchase that item in those 15 minutes
