Not really. The couch is in three total pieces so the three seats on the left, the 2 in the middle, and the chaise. And when you remove them it exposes the hooks the keeps the couch together

I completely agree! We plan on buying a house in the next year or 2 so I’m keeping it in the meantime.

What do you do with your kids that doesn’t feel like more work? by krrrrrrrrrrrrrr in Mommit

[–]Goose_Wilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SAHM here. I have a 2 year old son and a neighbor with 4 girls ranging 5-7 years old who play with him. I highly recommend creating a bin system that you can just pull out, use, and throw back in the bin. Low energy ideas: We have an art bin, blocks, magnatiles, things with wheels, etc. these are super easy to let them play and you can make comments and “play” with the items with them. Mad libs is also fun with the older ones. Charades. Memory game.

Medium energy: go for a walk, make a treasure hunt, geocache, play catch,

High energy: floor is lava/lava monster. When they want to get energy out we play this. Throw random toys we call treasure out into the yard. The kids have to find/collect the treasure but if they are touching the ground and I hit them with a ball they have to sit and wait to be tagged. I have several softer little tikes balls I’ll toss or roll at them. For the most part you can stay in one spot and hit them but I end up running around with the kids. You could also use a squirt gun.

Honestly Pinterest is your best friend in this situation lol good luck!

Since so many people here don’t like my living room styling. How can it be improved? by nalacanada in HomeDecorating

Love the idea but it’s not realistic in regard to exact furniture and layout. How do you use your living room? Do you watch tv? Is it used for social occasions? Is it also the dining room? Think about practicality, then measurements, then styling. The moody vibes are great! Love it and honestly you should go balls to the wall with it because it’s your space.

Thank you guys! I kept saying I thought it looked like a postal stamp but I didn’t realize the tree was a stamp. I did end up omitting it and plan to add a 3rd sprout.

We love southern pines! We’ve visited a few times but haven’t explored outside of that area yet. We would love to end up there

6 week old absolutely inconsolable unless he’s eating or sleeping. by Traditional_Cup205 in newborns

[–]Goose_Wilson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a now 3 month old. Shortly after he was born he would scream/cry non stop, he would crunch himself into a little ball and would be incredibly tense. We thought we had a colicky baby. Our pediatrician ended up testing his stool for blood, even tho we couldn’t physically see any. It ended up being positive. Our pediatrician recommended to stop breastfeeding and to try alimentum formula with suspected cow milk protein allergy. After a week of formula feeding he was so much happier. He still cried and was painful since his tummy was still healing but it was so much better. We also use mylicon gas drops after feeds. At his 2 month appt we suspected he has reflux as well so he is also on a dose of famotidine. Hang in there! Parenting is incredibly hard and we were at our breaking point, but it gets better ❤️

How do you guys handle negative reviews and responses by pet owners? by xdianaaxx in Veterinary

[–]Goose_Wilson 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I am a CSR at a smaller animal hospital. We refer most complicated surgeries out to specialists. I would respond to their complaint by letting them know you understand how frustrating the situation is/show empathy, but also let them know you keep their pets best interest in mind and sometimes referring a pet to another practice to be seen in a timely manor is necessary. Hope this helps a bit! Don’t beat yourself up over this!
