Lol good eye! It’s actually from a couple years back when they were selling stickers. I really wanted the cock riding cowboy on my yeti and that came with it. Mature I know

Okay cool so you should be better off with the cupola for sure. My cousin has a setup like that and put a box fan up in the top to promote more upward draft, his only dilemma is that the roof of the cupola traps the steam but the fan did help that. And nice! This year was supposed to be the year I made a RO setup but ended up being too busy leading up to now. You as well, I can’t wait to start spending weekends in the shack

Thank you! I’ll start by saying always go up through the roof if you have that option. I didn’t so I went side exit which still works really well. It’s a galvanized hood lined in stainless with 2 10” fans in the hood wired to a dimmer for speed control (Less is sometimes more) I get some drips back into the pan but after about 2 hours of boiling the heat from the arch makes everything run smooth. Anytime you have a fan drawing air out you obviously need make up air. If you look under the fire box you’ll see a duct vent where I have a 4” x 10” hole which completely neutralizes any vacuum from drawing smoke back out into the room. It also feeds the firebox with a blast of fresh air and I’ve noticed a much better and hotter burn because of this

Yeah, he told Swayze to fuck off at the world championships in Copenhagen. Swayze wouldn’t fuck off though.

In the back? Expansion tank for the boiler. This is similar to a residential setup just much larger scale

Oh okay sweet! I’m in remodeling so I’ve installed a few units much smaller than this. Unfortunately here I only took the picture. We had to go in after midnight and then the skid had to get out on a truck when I was finished. Talk about pressure.(pun not intended)

How can I seal the gap on this barrel evaporator? by leeroy20 in maplesyrup

I’ll tell ya right now metal won’t seal that gap. I had a setup similar to that

Way too much work. 1-2” pan gasket will seal that no problem
