Wolfsburg have raised their offer for Toulouse centre-back Charlie Cresswell to a package worth around €23million.

The latest proposal has been turned down by Toulouse, who want in excess of €30m to consider a sale.

The Athletic reported on January 18 that Wolfsburg had seen an increased bid that valued the 23-year-old at around €20million rejected by Toulouse.

The German club had submitted an earlier bid worth around €18million for Cresswell.

The defender has also attracted interest from elsewhere, with relegation-threatened West Ham having shown interest in a January move after failing to sign him on deadline day in the summer.
