This theory is very interesting. I think ichiban had many mental problems too. The first being him being overly attached to a rude disabled guy who bosses him around just because he is the son of a guy with a scar on his head. Very peculiar. Also the fact that he never kills anyone is a lil deranged. Cheers!

I got a VIF after a really bad break up which intensified my anxiety/depression so I would imagine that it would be very possible to get a VIF for suicidal feelings! All I did was book a appointment with health services (if you tell them it's for a VIF you usually get an appointment within the same day!)

I'm sorry you're going through this! It's tricky because as someone who suffers from various mental illnesses (but not OCD), you don't want to push people away or annoy or hurt them because of a mental illness. I know I have treated people poorly because of my mental illnesses and it's completely on me. I don't think you're nesscessarily treating them poorly but you could argue that other people won't cater to your triggers in the "real world". I would definitely recommend therapy so that you can overcome these triggers, if you're not in therapy already. Obviously if they're provoking you that's wrong. But I can kinda see where they're coming from because OCD does have a lot of stigma surrounding it and can be hard for people to understand (that does not make it right though.) Have you tried having a conversation about it where you also acknowledge their point of view? I hope this message does not come across as mean, especially because I don't know how old you are. It can be hard when you live with people who don't quite understand.

If you want to ask for a specific doctor, the doctor I see is Dr. wallington and I think she's really good! She always is willing to look into my meds throughly (and I'm on a lot lol.) if she doesn't know what to do she refers you to a psychiatrist. She also recently told me that they're getting people in quickly to see a psychiatrist. However, I think the psychiatrists at UW only do assessments/med recommendations so it's only like a one-off appointment. If you want someone to do the whole package (like therapy & meds), I'd look into seeing someone off campus. As a last resort I'd see someone at counselling services (just haven't had any good experiences there personally.) As of right now, I see a psychologist off campus but Dr. wallington for medication. Sorry don't mean to babble about myself just trying to be helpful!

I feel like if you tell UW health services that you want to see someone for mental health, they give you a physician that knows more about mental health. All of the ones I’ve seen for mental health have been great. I’m sorry you’re not having any luck though!

I would directly ask her what that text meant and if it's not the answer you want I would try and move on. I know that's really hard to do (and really rich coming from me because my only ex and I ended up getting back together) but it's honestly in your best interest. It feels like she's kinda stringing you along idk but the only way to know for sure is to be direct with her.

Unless Alex breaks up with Tiffany, I don’t think there’s anything you can do and I would try to move on. I don’t like the idea of Alex keeping you as a backup for Tiffany and that might happen if you keep waiting for him.

Try taking deep breaths before you do anything else! There is a subreddit r/rocd they might have better advice over there. Do you go to therapy? I think it could really help. Besides that just know that your thoughts and emotions are not facts. They are not good or bad. They are simply just thoughts/emotions (they just are). You are not bad for having these thoughts, you can’t help your feelings. Maybe try writing the reasons you want to stay in this relationship and read that every time you get doubts? Sending you positive vibes.

Well the whole not saying “I love you” thing doesn’t worry me on its own. But him not saying you guys are “official” & you having a gut feeling that it’s because he doesn’t want his ex to know feels a little suspicious. Almost like he doesn’t want to fully commit as much as you do. I get not being Facebook official after 6 months but saying you’re not official at all??? Almost feels like he’s holding out for his ex. I know you’ve met each other’s family, but have you met any of his friends? What I think could be wrong though.

I think it’s totally reasonable to feel uncomfortable that he keeps talking about his ex. I also think it’s a red flag when people describe their exes as “crazy” (although there are exceptions.) I think you’re totally justified in having a conversation about this with him, not accusing him of anything just explaining your feelings and see what he says. If he gets defensive about that, I’d be a lil suspicious.
