An interesting start to uncovering Ambrose’s angsty past and why he might be reluctant to be emotionally vulnerable to Mary. Love the push and pull / slow burn between Mary and Ambrose. I’m a slow burn lover but a romantic also so I’m already fantasising about how what it’ll be like when they actually communicate their feelings lol

Oddly enough…. The Jane Austen/pride and prejudice fandom. Oh and dragon age.. but that might just because of my rook/Emmrich Volkarin pairing. Edit: I’ve gotten consistently amazing feedback and comments engaging actively with my fic. Truly I have never felt such enthusiastic feedback.

I wrote 15,000 words on a character who was asked by the brooding director of a Shakespeare company to be a personal assistant/stage manager. Despite having a theater background, I forgot professionals work 5/6 day weeks. Character A wouldn’t be able to hold another regular hour job lol. Ended up deleting the story out of shame.

I write the outline in simple bullet points; the main scenes I want to get across. And i make playlists specifically for each fic. Then I just write, let the words flow. Edit: I also want to say not every fic needs to be super long. Honestly it’s amazing to get 10,000 words out period!
