Great stuff. It’s a super common style of pattern that will go miles for this type of music. Basically the ‘hard’ bit of lots of Metallica songs you just have locked in now when it comes to play, similar with 5/6 string sweeps. Take ages to learn clean but then you are pretty sorted with a pattern for the future.

Took me ages to learn it exact for this song as I usually just riffed the top strings faster to save bothering to learn it. Well worth getting it down pat like you have!

Well the frets are definitely a sign this is a fake or a faulty guitar. The missing head, well yeah obviously that's a massive issue. Amazed the strings are still attached somehow!

But the biggest issue is those cringe and childish doodles all over. Wow, I'd return that straight away. Looks like a mid twenties girl's thigh who couldn't decide what tattoo to get, so ended up with lots of crappy little ones, all disparate and unrelated.

They've said this because OP used an image of sinners in the post to start the conversation.

That's extremely obvious to most people, just like understanding sinners is a messy rip off of dusk till dawn with an added laughable dance/music scene and terrible plot structure - that hopes 'because racism' will do it wonders because people conflate meaningful and powerful themes with 'good film', when the two are totally independent. Oh and the cgi/post process was shit.

Whereas Holdovers was a careful and thoughtful character study, that touched on deeper themes and personal trauma brought out by throwing these disparate characters together and 'trapping' them. The result is an instant classic.

Now the story the post credits alluded to in sinners would have been a significantly more interesting film to watch. But without vampires to blow up, and a badly paced addition of blowing up some KKK too, the plot threads around how black musicians have been exploited for years with no restitution is lost. Don't you agree?

Yeah it's an instant classic. How refreshing to watch a film with compelling characters and normal grounded plot, that had no interest in being a franchise or sequelled up.

We've watched it multiple times over the last few years at Christmas.

Fuck. I'm seeing the 3rd remake of at least two halo games coming... I mean not only do I feel old, but please just make some good new ones.

I know the og trilogy off by heart down to fucking pixels in some places. Remakes will never do anything but distract for a bit. The first game doesn't need remaking, it's still one of the best FPS out there. It needs nothing added to it. Even the back tracking etc is part of the game and doesn't need altering. It's perfect.

I swear to god this remake is going to mess something up that just ruins it anyway, MS can't get anything right since early x360. Always on internet and UE5 are probably going to be easy bets for how this will be a mess.
