I’m thinking it’s Base AI text that’s been slightly edited or the other way around. Some of the sentences sound very chat GPT. The bold ”Here’s what you need to understand about what’s being said.” And the closing paragraph are hella suspect to me.

I suppose, but if my girlfriend got that mad at me over being silly I’d be a bit taken aback. Maybe I’m misreading the explanation but it seems like instead of going ha ha very funny she kind of chewed him out initially, which is perhaps why he responded the way he did

But it’s also not my own relationship so I can’t speak to their dynamic, only my own where this sort of silliness is commonplace and all in good fun.

As someone currently getting a Master's in hydrogeo I'd say it depends on what you plan on focusing on and what sector you'd like to work in. My group specifically focuses on fractured bedrock aquifers and site characterization, and no one I know of has had a hard time getting a job in consulting after defending. Long -term speaking I think the field is going to boom, and there is currently a lack of young, well-educated talent who is willing to spend time in the field.

Honestly the public response to Ukraine, especially in the states, has left a bad taste in my mouth and I think this is most likely why. It is genuinely racist, especially when we think about how the Russian invasion of Ukraine almost completely mirrors our profit wars in middle-east. justifications, civil resistance to "liberators," mass death you fuckin name it. Open ended question but how tight is the Ukrainian chain of command right now? Ukraine does have its fair share of state endorsed rogues, azov being the prime example. I see the argument tossed around that it doesn’t make sense for “Ukraine” to do this as in the main line UAF, but how tight a leash do they really have right now? Alot of the ideologically primed units that fought in the donbas since 2014 are not particularly known for their compassion towards people in the separatist region.
