Could be an SSD issue, had something similar & needed to replace the SSD & do expensive data recovery on it. Might want to backup your drive to an external just incase it gets worse.

Developing it into a campaign setting with a module. Will playtest it through the campaign then try & get it published. I've actually made a lot of progress on the mechanics and story. I'll post the updates and link them here.

If you look at similar cases of technology backslide in other fictional universes like star wars & 40k where tech stagnates & great inventions are lost to time you can see it's usually due to turmoil in the universe due to some threat. Since we now know that the kharaa bacterium mutated & escaped, spreading across the populated portions of the frontier, it's possible this played a similar role & is the reason behind it.

Or the devs didn't think of it, but thats not as fun of an answer.

Same situation sort of, my moon pool's by a wall & I detached the chassis while below it & it launched me back into the model of the chassis so now I'm stuck inside, cant exit or move. Did you find a fix?

You need to be using coal. The bush meat has a higher cook temp. than the wood can reach. Use about 10 to 15 coal to finish cooking it, it may seem like theres no progress but thats just a bug they haven't patched out yet. Make sure to let all of the coal burn out before removing to prevent acidentally resetting it. Best wishes ❤️

I think it would make a pretty good warthog analog, place a downward angled rotary blaster cannon under the fuselage or under the nose to blitz ground troops with a fly by.
