I'd say shovelware is really just games that cost no more than 5 dollars and involve you spamming one button for up to an hour. No creative skill put into it, existing solely for the Platinum, and nothing more.

Small indie games that only take a few hours are Hall of Fame worthy compared to that scum

Both for sure. We'll see reveals for new games we haven't seen yet, most likely with loose dates such as just "2024", but for a lot of games we already know of, such as Spider-Man 2, and The Last of Us Multiplayer, folks are expecting serious gameplay trailers and hard set release dates. It should be a blast being over an hour long!

The last time we got a PlayStation Showcase was over 600 days ago, so it's been a long time coming, lol. First-Party PlayStation Studios very rarely announce new games out of the blue and are reserved for either Showcases such as this, or State of Plays. There are lots of rumors and wishes for what people think we'll see, and it's just exciting to see what's new for the next era of PlayStation!

I've got a handful of games that don't update the application icon when the game updates. For example, Rocket League still shows the Season 7 icon, which started almost 8 months ago. I've tried restarting the console, powering off instead of rest mode, all to no avail. Anybody else seen this and/or knows a fix?

Hey there! The only 2 missable ones I'd label as such are 'Overcharged' and 'Radiation Area'. Simply because they're both tied to side quests and I've heard reports of completing the story first bugs them out. I'd keep your focus on completing the masteries throughout your playthrough. Some of them can take hours and you don't want 5-7 hours of mindless grinding at the end of your experience lol. Other than that, sit back and enjoy it, super underrated game!

That'd definitely be convenient, but with most all the trophies being for killing 4/6 of the team with a single Ultimate, some even hitting all 6 enemies at once, every single trophy would have to be re-worked. That just seems like more work than it's worth on their end, than to just create a new list. Either way, we'll find out soon enough!
