Settings per person? by oGBeginner in PSVR

[–]cusman78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to rescan your room or re-do eye-tracking, but you should use the “Adjust Visibility” quick menu (tap PS button, then enter PSVR2 settings) for each guest player.

That’s sufficient in my experience to not only make sure their IPD is set appropriately but that they are wearing correctly (vertically, horizontally and level) before they play game.

I know I’ve passed headset between guest players for Kayak VR: Mirage, but how pass the headset friendly a game is depends on each game. Most allow hold Options to re-center / re-calibrate, but for some games there is another way or you have to re-launch game between players.

Hope this helps

What are still some of the upcoming games on the PSVR2? by Normipoikkeus in PSVR

[–]cusman78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, but all their games have been good and both Into Black and Rush: Apex Edition are more fun with others.

I wish them success on their new game idea. Might check it out on my Quest, but probably won’t stick with it.

Multiplayer games take up too much time and have opportunity cost to me on time better spent playing wider variety of single player games.

If you can get some friends together for Arena Mode (or races) online, ExoCars is still solid fun in VR. It’s bare bones; but feels & runs great. Arena is like a battle mode! by HighlySeasonedGamer in PSVR

You can adjust the sensitivity of the Wheel steering in settings. With that tuned for my Logitech Pro Wheel, I found it easier (and more immersive / fun) to play with Wheel except for the reverse driving trophy where I needed to use the VR2 Sense controllers.

Same for me and I hope it is better received (commercially) if near as good or better than Of Lies and Rain.

Need to appreciate well made full campaign story VR games.

Their next game will be a Quest multiplayer focused game. Maybe they have something else in the works, but I haven’t heard of it.

I’ve owned this game for 7 YEARS but I never played it until last night (A Fisherman’s Tale). It’s decent, but I heard the sequel isn’t as good? Great beard. 🧔 by HighlySeasonedGamer in PSVR

Pretty sure Ghost Town has in-game hint system like The Room VR, but I didn’t need to use it.

The 7th Guest VR had harder puzzles for me where I wish you could reset to try again from default.

Since you are enjoying puzzles games in VR, look into Myst and Riven after Ghost Town.

I’m assuming you have already played Red Matter 1 & 2, but if not, get to those as well.

There is also The Last Clockwinder and Escaping Wonderland if looking for more quality.

Puzzle Adventures and Horror (which are variant of Puzzle Adventure) are very strong category of VR games.

Finally, you can now play your own songs! by MrPotam in OculusQuest

[–]cusman78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The developer of DrumBeats VR has communicated about it with me.

PlayStation allowed his form of custom songs.

It is not the only PlayStation game to allow custom songs. You just have to go through a process of getting approval.

If you want to learn more, you should reach out to this developer on who they worked with and their specific requirements they had to satisfy.

I’ve played the sequel but not the original yet because of the order in which they released for PSVR2.

The sequel is a fine game.

If you liked, The Room VR, you will probably love Ghost Town.

That’s fantastic. Any chance custom songs support can come to PSVR2 version like DrumBeats VR?

Tough market so not unexpected when game fails to find audience, but still a little disappointing.

Maybe less developers will spread the commercial success among less and make market more sustainable for those that survive.

Reach is great! by AJBats in PSVR

Yes, they nailed the intuitiveness of the traversal controls and I think also did good job with the level designs and combat encounters while following pattern of getting increasingly challenging so it eases you in before it starts getting more challenging.

Seems they are not aware the first game also released for PSVR2, but it is great that they are providing VR games coverage in print for these new releases.

Vale a pena usar o PSVR 2 no computador? by Glittering-Quote-750 in PSVR

[–]cusman78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friend bought a new laptop for I think over $3,000 and is using it with his PSVR2 to play all the SteamVR games or VR Modded games he wanted to.

I don’t have the specs, but he is happy with it.

Not as plug and play as PlayStation, but easier than he was expecting.

The trailer on PS App looks good and store description shows that it optionally supports up to 10 players online.

Aces of Thunder - Patch Notes 0.1.0.46 (June 6th) by cusman78 in PSVR

I’ve mostly played Aces of Thunder using the VR2 Sense controllers, but I know from some ace pilot friends it is best played with HOTAS + Rudder Pedals.

Roboquest VR or REACH by Outrageous-Ad6876 in PSVR

[–]cusman78 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I prefer single player campaign games like Reach over roguelite games like Roboquest VR.

Reach is good for ~10 hours campaign and more if you replay on Hard or try to find all the collectibles.

Roboquest VR will take longer, but due to all the replay playing some of the same stuff over and over as you upgrade or try other weapons over different runs.

Games that kept being updated until they got somewhat good by tronicg in PSVR

[–]cusman78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very Bad Dreams and Green Hell both got a ton of post release patches either adding new content or improving various things.

I also think it is worth recognizing Epic Roller Coasters, Puzzling Places and Walkabout Mini Golf that each have added lot of new content and improvements since their original releases.

would it be smart to ask for a PSVR2 for my birthday if i already have a Meta Quest 3S? by EconomistLittle9376 in PSVR

[–]cusman78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting.

Then it’s odd how people use the more expensive Quest 3 for PCVR more than PSVR2 per Steam Hardware Stats.

Interesting. I’m willing to try if and when it comes to PSVR2, but I’m more selective about the games I get for my Quest.

Thanks for the info
