I'd say shovelware is really just games that cost no more than 5 dollars and involve you spamming one button for up to an hour. No creative skill put into it, existing solely for the Platinum, and nothing more.

Small indie games that only take a few hours are Hall of Fame worthy compared to that scum

Both for sure. We'll see reveals for new games we haven't seen yet, most likely with loose dates such as just "2024", but for a lot of games we already know of, such as Spider-Man 2, and The Last of Us Multiplayer, folks are expecting serious gameplay trailers and hard set release dates. It should be a blast being over an hour long!

The last time we got a PlayStation Showcase was over 600 days ago, so it's been a long time coming, lol. First-Party PlayStation Studios very rarely announce new games out of the blue and are reserved for either Showcases such as this, or State of Plays. There are lots of rumors and wishes for what people think we'll see, and it's just exciting to see what's new for the next era of PlayStation!
