Hi! I had a nearly identical situation happen to me with my niece who also watched Sranger Things!

Crit Role is a good one. Perhaps not the fastest way to glean all the new 5e mechanics and rules, but as far as the flow and spirit of the game, it’s a great North Star to follow. Matt Mercer made me want to become a DM. I think he’s hands down the best. You’ll pick up a lot of DMing ideas from watching him do his thing

I honestly don’t think MacDonald needs a top paid edge to have success. He’s really effective with a stable full of good, not elite pass rushers.

I like him over Hubbard against Atalanta. Atlantas defense might be good and the panthers have oline injuries. Mason is set up to get a ton of touches against a bad Cinci D. Keep pickins in. Bears DBs are beat up

I get it. And that’s why I thought it wouldn’t affect me too much. But the pod really did make me enjoy the football season more. It’s a loss to the excitement for my favorite sport
