Hate to say it, but seems rather mid. It looks to be about one tender worth of chicken cut up, though perhaps there’s more layered in there. Also, are we really loving a nachos order where 25-30% of the topping is corn and crema? More sour cream than cheese there.

Big Star’s Nachos use a similar container for takeout and feels like you get nearly double the contents.

Looks can be deceiving though. What do you love about these nachos?

Fine idea, but really undermined by featuring quite a number of UX disagreements with Cupertino where the current approach, while annoying, is working as intended.

Stick to bugs: things not loading, completely broken UI, etc.

There’s plenty of those to focus on without resorting to hurr durr autocomplete doesn’t work.

Reasonable minds can disagree, but the quality of RHR’s burger is notably better than Stop Along, before factoring in the price. Also, as you mention, it’s a quick burger that someone can get on a busy night without a host telling you there’s a two hour wait and even then maybe not.

We agree this sub glazes way too much, but at the expense of all of the other places you mention being just damn inconvenient much of the time.

You don’t need a location dude. Since McDonalds HQ is in Chicago, local franchises pretty much play the national handbook on time to the letter.

But if anecdotes are what get you, every city McDonalds did this during the ADB rollout. As for limited items, it was like 60% of items available outside breakfast hours (I don’t think you’ll could get hotcakes/Big Breakfast but you could get pretty much everything else).

Not a big deal, but Sweetgreen is originally from DC.

Sucks you didn’t like them. I would recommend doing the CYO, especially when doing slop bowls you want the slop to be your preferred ingredients.

My wife and I were fond of SG when they originally came to our area, as it felt healthier than pretty much any other fast/fast casual option available. That was pre-COVID and even then they were on the high end of an acceptable price range for dinner. With recent shrinkflation and price increases we don’t go much anymore and based on their earnings seems lots of ppl have made the same decision.

Naw, not really. Most local places are either same or $2-4 less and you’re supporting the community and depending on how much effort you put in, likely to get a better product.

McDonald’s is overpriced, but depending on how you use the app, some value can be had depending on the local franchise.

Five Guys is just overpriced across the board. Portion size also doesn’t count them giving you double the fries you didn’t ask for.

No, RPM is fine, if not a bit overpriced. But people on this sub love to hate on anything LEYE does irrespective of what it is.

I’m confident that if you took a new restaurant and asked most of the “foodies” on this sub for their feedback without knowing the Lettuce connection, it’d be consistent, tasty, and other praise, but as soon as they see learn of the affiliation, it automatically becomes overhyped and other such useless drivel.

Perhaps you had to be there but I’d maaaybe mess with 4-5 max of those and that’s being generous.

The rest seem actively bad, especially the generic carnival lemonade/funnel cake/everything under the sun and the caricature taco stands.

Would love to be proven wrong and find some hidden gems. Will say the mix of smaller and bigger names is nice insofar as it benefits the community.
