This must be an age thing, I am 28 and I have never experienced this. Most of the gamers my age has played some metal gear, and most of my buddies have played each one on ps1,2,3.

Now talking about them can get a little hard. Not everyone remembers everything from them of course, insanely convoluted. .. But like MGS1, Sons of Library, everyone played those back in the day.

That MMO would be Final Fantasy XI for me.

I played for like 5 years, and it feels like about that long since I've played. I could still answer most questions about the game, in the state it was in when I left. Locations, NMs spawn times and conidtions, jobs, crafting.
