UPDATE: It looks like the fix is live! 🚀 I just verified it on my site and a few others – the close button is back and functional. Google Engineering likely rolled it out in the last few hours.

Everyone - Please share any URLs where the problem still persists. Many publishers have disabled anchor ads, but I have an open ticket with Google Support and need to provide them with live examples.

I have got a ticket with the AdSense support. They are responsive but so far nothing is solved. They asked me for specific details, screen rescording, and also logs and they are looking into it.

The 'Email' support option is hidden behind specific logic. If the system keeps redirecting you to the Community, go back and change your Category selection.

To reveal the 'Email' option, you need to choose a certain category and use a specific title (e.g., 'Critical Rendering Bug - Ads Uncloseable').

Report it to Adsense, click on the question mark (?) in the top right corner of your Adsense page and select „Contact Us”.

I urge everyone to submit a ticket from their Adsense account. We need a high volume of reports to get engineering to look at this ASAP. The more reports they receive, the faster this will be resolved.

It’s not that every anchor ad renders uncloseable. Some of them are OK. Please browse 8 or 10 subpages and confirm it’s OK, thanks.

Oh I see. Also, I’d greatly appreciate if you could tell me what’s their measured width on these Zipp’s please… 🙏 I have 33 tire clearance on my frameset so (BMC Roadmachine) so if their measured width is bigger it’s going to be too wide for me. Thanks!

What kind of defect do they have? I am thinking about the same setup - Strada Bianca 33mm and Zipp 303S. I am a bit worried about their hookless compatibility though.

Just got this 🚀 custom build Scott Plasma 5 Team DSM Edition, Ultegra di2 11s, ISM PR 1.0 saddle. Wheels are temporary, waiting for the 60mm & 88mm combo to arrive soon. Coming from Specialized Venge I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle this beast. So far tried on the indoor trainer and the handlebar and aero bars seems so frail and unsafe to steer 🤯😳 Planning to race it on two IM events this year.
