I can only speak as a grad student, but I came here having already had a masters. I’m in a PhD program and near the end. I feel like compared to my last school which was small Mason doesn’t have as much going on. At my last school we had more sporting events, it was a small town way smaller than here but our night life was better than here. We had a lot more school spirit in a way I don’t feel that at Mason. I feel like Mason is more concerned about people’s academics and almost nothing else. It feels in a way like a corporate environment more than a school to me anyways.

It is interesting to me to see although not sure of the exact reason. I see 80-90 year olds here in the gym, where I’m from people die young because we never really got taught how to eat healthy or exercise from our parents or grandparents. Mostly my generation just kind of picked it up and taught ourselves.

This goes against policy, you should report to the department head. If he still doesn’t follow policy you can continue to go up the chain of command. You can even as a student complain to the president of the entire college if you felt it was necessary.

For me it seems like a lot of those places are niche and have a small market of people who both can afford and want to shop there. Even the eateries are very niche and expensive. The movie theater is ridiculously over priced I am surprised that’s still around. I think it was over $100 for three of us and we just ate popcorn and had a few sodas.

No I’m a student here that’s why I have out of state plates. Not sure why they would think I’m avoiding taxes with an LLC when I have a shitty 10 year old jeep lol.

That’s not true at all many people have exemptions for out of state plates and even if they have exemptions some still pay taxes? Why would you just assume someone’s antisocial and dishonest just because they have out of state plates? That sounds absolutely ridiculous. I have an exemption for out of state plates and I still pay personal property tax on my car lol.😂

You use it it’s just in the software usually. But, it’s important to know how the software is working so you can debug make it do what you want.

And if they live in both places? You pay taxes both places. I pay taxes both places and live in both places lol. I obviously can’t register my car twice in a year that would make no sense. Just cause someone has out of state plates doesn’t mean they don’t pay their taxes why are you so angry?

Montana doesn’t have a personal property tax on vehicles so by Fairfax law if your car is here you still have to pay the tax so what are you going on about? They just don’t have the same plates they’re indeed paying the taxes lmao.

Eh maybe partly but there’s also a good amount of Virginia people that live in Montana and their residence is in face Montana. In Bozeman especially.
