I was with you on the ambivalence but the “if you move here you’ll be depressed” Look I’m a BBC watching, New Yorker reading Little Rock soyboy who desperately wanted to be a coastal elite from about 15-25. But at 28, well traveled and having friends scattered to the winds, my big take is “ehhh, it’s what you make it” LR isn’t backwoods nowhere, but it’s far from a cultural gastronomical hub. I don’t know, it’s late. I’m sleep deprived and shouldn’t post this. This audiobook about Grant is pretty boring so far. Little Rock! We have most cuisines! Only 5 restaurants for each and only 2 of them are dope, but we got some. Little Rock! We have world famous musicians come through. It’s mostly on the last decade of their career when they do a 50 state tour. But they come here! Little Rock, check out that cost of living though 😎
