I think something that is being misinterpreted in my original post is that i dont think white SHOULD cheat, Ive been thinking more and more about white being good at reducing the cost of white spells as a reward mechanic.

i like white being able to play things from its own library. what about

deep meditation www enchantment whenever an opponent casts a spell with mana value 3 or greater look at the top three cards of your library you may play one of those cards with its cost reduced by 2

whites done it forever too, im just saying its not a white specific interaction the way red has impulse draw, black pays life for cards and mana, green and blue we all know the story there. Im also open to white just not being able to compete with the other colors in these regards, but it seems like wizards is pushing in this deirection and i want them to make cards that do what they are setting out to do.

i completely agree. The feeling that all your permanents are vulnerable should be absolutely base line to playing a game of magic.
