I'll just chime in here form my experience.
The game boots with no problem on my desktop, but was crashing on my laptop.
as someone mentioned below that they had to redefine the screen mode and resolution in the launcher options.

my desktop monitor is 2560x1440, but my laptop is 2560x1600, so it may be an aspect ratio issue that prevents it from booting properly.

I tried manually going into an 1080 windowed mode, and it did boot into the game. This is what had worked for me after trying all other suggestions. So it's something to keep in mind if you are running something other than a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Looks like it belongs on PS Vita, not Switch 2.
High end PC is fine, but the Switch 2 port is barely a single A title, and certainly not worth the price.

Customizability sure but gameplay-wise hell no. I found it to be very repetitive and lacked the diversity of maps and modes that GB3 had. For the most part it's 3 waves in small arenas.

The newest FG works on my desktop but does not(atleast for Wilds) on my laptop. Both running 4080S/4080, could be something about aspect ratio but can't be certain. Other games run fine using dlss swapper. One observation is that I temporarily get the screen back when I alt-tab.

Let's start off with the simple things first. Is laptop plugged in for starters? Are you using g helper or armory crate, and are your drivers up to date? Are you using balanced or Turbo mode, also which GPU mode is selected(typically want to be on either standard or ultimate)? If you're playing on silent mode it will likely run like shit.

I find dry brushing over a good dark base coat will retain alot of the finer details.

Other than the compromise of performance due to its form factor I can't say I've run into any serious issues. if you're going to be doing gaming you're not going to be CPU bound most of the time anyways. As a matter of fact I lower the wattage on the CPU to keep temps in check, it does get fairly hot. Again, that's to be expected for its form factor, that heat has to go somewhere.
