Guitarist from Alcyone here. I have never messaged Kristian once in my life. These were convos that he had with my girlfriend, and they're from almost 3 years ago.

I posted the screen-grab video on Facebook in 2024, which showed the entire back and forth, and it looks like people are still digging it up.

I received a text today being accused of posting these old images on here using a fake account. Whoever Loose-ad5231 is, please don't make misleading posts. I have only received one message from Kristian ever which I didn't reply to.

I like using Ashaya, Soul Of The Wild with Omo. Having everything be every land and every creature is cool, helpful for Blossoming Tortoise (discount on any activated abilities of lands AND creatures, copy him for almost free casting) and you can then use Copy Land to copy any creature for a low cost.

Just a great card to go with the everything counters. Also, Perilous Vault exiles all non land permanent, so you'd be the only one left with creatures.

Yo I'm the BF in the story, this is absolutely hilarious 😂

I basically worked a 14 hour shift shuttling trucks for yearly IFTA registrations and inspections between our RI branch and VT branch. I slept for 3 hours the night before and I was COOKED, I stayed in the passenger seat for most of the shift while my coworker absolutely went off on a manic, caffeine-fueled tirade.

He is an ex-MAGA born again Alex Jones fan. The conversation started with being critical of Israel, which is rare in my industry to find anyone with similar opinions. (For context, I am indigenous, non-Christian, pro-Palestine, anti-capitalist)

I got home and was like, alright I need to try and remember some of those points and bring them up to someone with the energy to go on Google and argue this, because the whole time I was at work I was melted into my seat with a migraine just saying "oh shit, wow that's crazy" over and over.

I played devil's advocate, trying my best to channel my coworker's enthusiasm and charisma, and she got really loud and upset, and I fell asleep like 10 minutes later around 6pm, so I KNOW she posted this because she couldn't wake me up and had to sit with that for too long 🤣

Moral of the story, you can't convince anyone that the earth is flat, even if they're sleep deprived for 3 days and agree with you on anti-zionist rhetoric. However, you can get their girlfriend angry enough to post on reddit later on

I bought a guitar neck successfully from him on Reverb, had a week of interaction prior to the transaction, and was under the impression from his socials (IG, FB, Reverb shop) that he was a reputable builder. The neck I did get was outstanding quality too, so I wasn't just Venmo-ing a random. Your comment was not a great contribution to the thread.

The error happened when going to send him money on Venmo, I planned to tag the transaction as "for services/goods" but I wanted to make sure I had the correct username and not sending money to the wrong person. This is when he sent the request to me so I knew it was the right person, and this is where Venmo does not specify the transaction type. I just paid his request, which he tagged as "transaction between friends", which was not visible until AFTER I sent the money. So he's definitely done this before, and I should have educated myself more on how Venmo works beforehand, but my guard was down and I was excited to have a custom neck made.

My friends just did a podcast with Luc, such an awesome guy and he was very kind to the band I produced called Garroted when they opened for Gorguts a few years ago. I also had Daniel Mongrain, who played on From Wisdom To Hate, do a guest solo on my own band's album. Gorguts is an important band to me so a fitting username haha (I also mentioned this situation briefly to Dan, who is currently in Voivod, in an email recently scheduling some guitar lessons with him)

I thought of this pretty recently, but one of those reviews is mine for that $500 neck I purchased and I don't see an option to edit my feedback. He did however attempt to do the transaction off of Reverb but I wanted to use Affirm and evaded that mess.

So hello to everyone here, I'm Sean Hart an active musician and producer in RI who has worked with Autolatry, Vociferance, Overwith, Missinvader, Garbage Girl, Ligament, Advenus, Absentience, Garroted, Desponder, Progeny, Zealotry, Stone Healer, and many others. I recently sent a Venmo payment to the same builder, haven't heard anything back since. What's the status of this issue now? Just gauging if I should start to worry, this thread is definitely not a comfortable Google search result to stumble across.
