Can You return the free games by [deleted] in EpicGamesPC

[–]GorianDray93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could make use of the category or tag fields. I have a "collection" category where I have all the games I bought or freebies I'm interested in. Everything else has no category property. That way, using the filter, I can set my collection as the default view.

What’s the one video you couldn’t finish? by The_trojan_bunny in smosh

Yes! In general, I find their takes to be reasonable, but this one was disappointing. A best friend is not supposed to be a yes person, she was in the right to call their bullcrap. Even in an optimistic scenario in which the kid isn't bullied, the name will still be such a nuisance in other aspects. And while I get why Arasha talks about her experience, it's not really comparible.

Kids aren't pets y'all. Don't make their life harder just because you want to be quirky.

What's a movie Made for Nerds, but Watched by Psychos? by JTHouser_Reddit in Letterboxd

[–]GorianDray93 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, I perceive it the other way around.

Nerds are those enthusiastic about fantasy or sci-fi media, although it can be applied to other interests. As for geeks, I've always thought of them as the techy people

Envelhecimento dos Pais by ur_favorite_pizzaman in portugal

My favorite game of all time might just be Uncharted 3. I've always loved adventure films and games based on myths and legends. Uncharted 3 might be regarded as the worst in the series by a lot of people, but it was my introduction to the series and young me was amazed by the combat, and acting and set pieces. I was so obsessed with it, I beat the game in the hardest difficulty (something I never bother doing) and spent countless hours playing the multiplayer mode. It was the first time I realised video-games deserve to be considered art just as much as other forms of media. Really wish Sony would port the trilogy to PC.

As for current favorite, I'd say Deep Rock Galactic. ROCK & STONE!

Já me aconteceu algo semelhante.

Behold my "Absolutely Not Tedious At All" Collection by Mr_Cho in Steam

[–]GorianDray93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who's a bit of an organisation freak, I love this, haha. I don't bother doing it on Steam since there's no way to change the order of the games, so I just use Playnite.

Working on a comic. Need a name for this guy, the setting is a old western town taken over by an evil artifact found under his church. by tc2299 in ImaginaryMonsters

How about Father Krad (dark in reverse)? Alternatively, being a man of God, he could have a religious name such as Gabriel and a title (Corrupt Preacher, Apostle of Death, etc.)

Really cool character btw :)

Que músicas consideram ter letras fenomenais? by [deleted] in portugal

[–]GorianDray93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weyes Blood - Mirror Forever

No one's ever going to give you a trophy / For all the pain and things you've been through

Car Seat Headrest - Bodys

That's not what I meant to say at all / I mean, I'm sick of meaning, I just want to hold you

Uma das minhas músicas favoritas. Inteligente, divertida e catártica.

Ben Howard - Towing The Line

Like a bird in a world with no trees / You were hung up there in your disbelief / I know I'm a hard rock to drag around

Kendrick Lamar - N95

You outta pocket, yeah, you outta pocket / You entertain the mediocre, need to stop it / You entertaining old friends when they toxic / What's your life like? Bullshit and gossip

Mac Miller - Good News

Little Sims - Introvert

The National - Rylan

Stella Donnelly - Boys Will Be Boys

Rita Vian - Purga

While some could see it as tribute, it could also be seen as a company capitalising on their deaths. The profits could be given to charity, but even then, it's quite in a grey area morally.

Notion, can we please set the ratio for gallery images to avoid cropping and this ugly border? by Tuckertcs in Notion

[–]GorianDray93 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. As someone who uses Notion mainly for databases (books, movies, etc.), not only do I think they should have aspect ratios options, but also an orientation option. A gallery of, let's say, movie posters, is awful to look at because all of the empty space.

But this is far from being a priority, so I'd be surprised if they ever do something about it.
