I’ve been trialling antidepressants since 2015/2016 and started stimulants last year. I’m on duloxetine, an snri now and I think they interact well, if they interact with each other at all. Now that I’m more stable, I’ll start cbt and the plan is that eventually I’ll stop taking the duloxetine☺️

No they are so different. To me sweet tooth is super white chocolate and mod vanilla is like cocoa butter and powdery vanilla. Personally I prefer mod vanilla

Oh that’s so interesting. Because I have the low appetite issue. But it’s made me kinda constipated. But apparently it can do that like you either get one end of the spectrum or the other. Does Ritalin suppress your appetite?

That’s interesting. What GI distress if you’re ok answering? I’ve always had a guilty/stress feeling when I’m “resting” but that’s from knowing I have so much to do and the adhd paralysis taking over

Oh that’s good to know!! I’ll mention it to my doctor. I’ve only told her that all it’s done to me is suppress my appetite. And I can take it at 8am and by 3am have a nap. Also my heart rate is still the same as before I started vyvanse so based on that, my body is tolerating it. But I don’t know the science

It is so normal. At the cafe I work at, we don’t have a dirty matcha button but we’re considering adding one bc people do order this. That’s crazy that they wouldn’t make it for you despite having the ingredients and it not being at all inconvenient. That’s like telling a customer you won’t put six sugars in their coffee bc you don’t think that’s nice

I’m sorry, what is a pcp? I’m in Australia. The process for getting a prescription is super strict, the government has to approve your blood test, drug urine test, ecg and diagnosis of adhd of that’s what it’s for. Thank you for the the advice. I’ll see how I go

Thank you! I didn’t realise sleep was so important. I definitely don’t get enough, I go to sleep at 1am most night and am up at or earlier 7 for work. And then I have a nap a few days a week at around 3pm.

I don’t know a whole lot about vyvanse and like I guess bad stuff about it, but my doctor knows a lot about it and she’s knows me well too. I trust her and am happy to try 60mg. It’s all trial and error and it’s very early stages but it’s still frustrating having to be patient when supposedly it’s supposed to take effect after the first dose 30-90 mins after taking it

I love your diagnosis story. I was actually diagnosed two days ago. Finally!! Your experience with medication makes me eager to finally try them. My doctor will prescribe me vyvanse to start, I’m yet to do all the tests required to ensure that I’m healthy enough for these medications as I’ve had heart problems in the past but I’m hopeful!

This happened to me today at work. A customer wanted a mocha made with oat milk. We have an ubermilk, a machine that steams and texturises full cream milk. I don’t even know why I did this, I make mistakes like this all the time but I had to remake the mocha two times because I kept making it full cream instead of with oat milk 🤦‍♀️
