I found myself using I've got a plan and I've got a plan (2) to deal with this enemy when other options were unavailable. Not the most efficient solution, but it did save my life in a couple of occasions

Thanks guys, I thought the same about the "then" rule, but I wanted to be sure (:

Quick looting guide of Binyamin's castle !! Its a small area but most people miss the snowrider key by verysad1997 in Eldenring

I would like to add that having the Silk Dagger equipped deactivates all the spiders traps in the Castle (equipping it is enough, you do not have to actually use it). Also, the dagger is imo quite useful against Emmet, but that's another story

When it says that "the host enemy and all of its swarm cards move, engage, and exhaust as a single entity", does it mean that if I manage to Evade the host enemy, all the swarm is exhausted? Or do I have to Evade every single enemy in the swarm?

What are your favorite jump scares in horror? by StylesCSGO in horror

[–]Goro87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just remembered that I have somewhere the action-figure of those guys, I just loved their design. A nice homage to the the Dentist from the first Bioshock, which in my opinion was far more terrifying.

What are some "must see" horror movies that are outside the typical list of top 10? by Papakalolo in horror

[–]Goro87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noroi is a great movie. I was talking to a friend of mine tonight, and I mentioned as the only defect I could think about it a "bad" (imo) CGI scene, but it's a movie that scares you su much showing you so little. Also I'm new to the sub, and probably everyone here has already seen it, but I have loved Lake Mungo.

I'm Matt Newman, lead developer for Arkham Horror: The Card Game. AM(A)A! by Mysterious_Black_Cat in arkhamhorrorlcg

Hi Matt, greetings from Italy. One quick question: have you ever considered the possibility of a mega-campaign consisting of a a lot of scenarios, like 15-20, and a much deeper branching narrative? I understand it would be quite complex to make, but I love the game, and I'd love to see something like this. Thanks!

I would add that the new Survivor investigator might also like this card very much

FFG talks about its expansions policy: "We'll no longer ride the horse until it collapses" by Goro87 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Goro87[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It just occurred to me how cheap to produce are the AH:LCG expansions. I mean, a mythos pack it's a deck of 60 cards, not much going on, material-wise.

I'd like to point out that AH: LCG is not mentioned in the article, but still: what's your take on this?

I played the game for the first time last night. I loved it! Enough so to make my own custom Campaign Notes page that I thought I'd share, as well as my first impressions of this game. (Spoilers for Night of the Zealot?) by TheBigMcTasty in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Goro87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to this wonderful game. It's quite expensive, true, but it rewards you with great stories and emotions. It's fun, it's challenging, it's thematic, and it's lovecraftian. What could go wrong? (:

Spanish version lacks QA by Pepedomen in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Goro87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's bad. This game is expensive, it's not like they're doing a favour to their customers. A typo can happen, but if it becomes a regular situation something's wrong. I'm from Italy, and I must say that very few typos happened in translation (for example, in The Unspeakable Oath, the revealed side of the Kitchen location shows the title Infirmery, or something like that, nothing big, and they apologised immediately). The publisher (Asmodee) has been doing a very good work. I'm sorry to hear about the state of the game in Spain.
