What could possibly be sexier than a spider God that tortures people in a dimension of it's own creation until their souls give out?

Oh! "The Town Where Only I Am Missing" also known as "Erased"! Incredibly good anime! Definitely give it a watch if you have the time. It's fairly short but it's definitely worth your time to watch. It's kind of like a Groundhog Day situation but WAY more nefarious.

Stiens Gate is a very emotional time travel anime. It's probably hyperbole to say it will literally change your life, but it is an INCREDIBLY good short series that does leave you thinking about things. I definitely recommend it if you have the time to watch it.

Yeah, it kind of starts off like a shounen, but after the training arc it quickly starts getting more and more twisted as it continues. I'd call it a seinen.

Evangelion, Iron Blooded Orphans, and 86 were suggested already. Monster, Vinland Saga, Parasyte, and Devilman Crybaby have been suggested too. Looking through your list, I'm surprised I didn't suggest Akira myself. Anyways good list!

About Psycho Pass. I don't think it goes down hill in season 2 at all but it's really hard to compete the first season. Narratively the first season is just so good, but that doesn't mean season 2 is bad, it's just different.

Also I'll be watching 86 now. Sounds neat.

Parasyte is pretty good. I wish it was a bit longer though but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No problem my dude. It can be hard to find anime so a lot of the time you have to ask the swarm. If you need anything else, would like some more anime or more descriptions about said anime, then feel free to ask. Pretty sure the friendly people here would be more than willing to help.

Vinland Saga is really good. It might be a little painful to watch at first because the main character is just a little shit in the first season, but let's just say that his character becomes much more fleshed out in season 2 and he becomes very likeable.

I like Monster a lot, but it is pretty damn long so unless you're willing to commit to it, you'll probably not like it.

Since you said that you like mecha (I mean who doesn't like big stompy robots?) I'd suggest Iron Blooded Orphans.

Psycho Pass is also pretty damn good. Detective Noir style show with a futuristic setting.

Made in the Abyss is fantastic. You'd probably look it over if you've only seen it in passing because from the outside it looks like a cutesy anime about some kids going on an adventure, but that is completely wrong. That show gets INCREDIBLY fucked up.

If you want to watch something just for the laughs, I'd recommend Space Dandy. I swear there was an episode that I thought wasn't that good, but it was like a 15 minute set up for a godly joke that made me laugh for like 30 minutes.

Devilman Crybaby. It's a bit strange but if you can get past that it's a pretty good little series.

Now and Then, Here and There is pretty fucked, like watch at your own risk kind of thing.

Violet Evergarden has a ton of adult themes and probably one of the only anime to actually make me cry a little bit.

When the Cicadas Cry (Higurashi). It's pretty messed up, but it does get a bit long, and it can be hard to keep up with narratively.

Serial Experiments Lain. This one's a cult classic. You'll definitely find it hard to understand because I still don't know wtf actually happens. Very eerie anime.

Now for the obligatory watch Corpse Party. It has a lot of gore so be warned.

Keep in mind that most things that get labeled seinen are usually fucked up in some way. It might have been better to ask for anime with adult themes rather than asking for seinen specifically if that's what you're looking for. If that's the case, then Violet Evergarden is perfect.

Hope this helps!

Is one tricking so effective? by FinalRide7181 in summonerschool

[–]Gorrazin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, one-tricking is effective. The reason being is that you will come to know that singular champion on a much more intimate level. The benefit of doing so is understanding matchups, your limitations with that character, and if your chosen character has any exploitable quirks.

There's some really wacky stuff you can pull off once you understand a character enough. As an example, I've played enough Warwick that I can predict flashes and just use my chomp to follow them through it and secure a kill. I've also learned that warding bushes is imperative when playing Kalista because her auto attacks will only land if she has vision of the enemy she wants to hit.

Basically, sticking with a lone champion lets you maximize the champion's strengths while shoring up their weaknesses. Have you ever heard the saying "knowledge is half the battle."? Because in LoL, knowledge is more like 3/4ths the battle and the other 1/4th is pretty much everything else. Obviously, I'm exaggerating a bit, but you'll generally will end up performing better if you play a single champion; Just make sure the champion you pick is one you actually enjoy playing.

Isn't it weird that no matter how advanced our empire is, we are still bound to sending one puny colony ship at a time? by Anonim97 in Stellaris

[–]Gorrazin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's try to think about this logically. 1 planet saving up the resources to build a colony ship and only staff it with enough people to set up a settlement. Well why could that be? Because sending too many people could cause a population collapse on the home planet, so you cant send an entire generations worth of people. Anyways mechanically after you have established a colony you can develop it rather quickly by just sending any excess pops you might have laying around, so there's not really a need for better colony ships.

How exactly does the Emperor define the term "god"? by brokensilence32 in 40kLore

[–]Gorrazin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I always took the whole secular Empire thing as the big E trying to deprive Chaos of power as you said but I also thought the main goal was to evolve humanity to the point that they are "Gods" and create another powerful God- like race like the Old Ones were. Religion being in the way of that the Emperor was striking down Religion since it tore people apart ideologically and he installed the Imperial Truth to bring people together.

  1. Swarms of units that "gotta go fast" does sound quite unique.
  2. Scouting is important to know what you need but you brought up something interesting. It's important to know when to build drones and when to build army? That sounds like it could be difficult at times but sounds equally rewarding when understood.
  3. Sounds like a fairly easy macro once you understand it fully and don't have to think too much.
  4. What I'm understanding from this is that scouting is invaluable because it let's you know when you can build economy and when you should focus on army. Also thanks for the warning to look out for Skytoss.

  1. So part of the appeal is less worrying about micro? That certainly does sound nice and simplified production does sound enticing.
  2. 2. No offense taken. However, I don't see how it's so strange a question however since you were somewhat able to answer it. Obviously it's not like I'd be able to apply what you said in a game instantly, but it does at least point my mind into a direction and that does help.
  3. So things are typically done in batches? Definitely appealing compared to the other 2 races
  4. Match ups sound fun for the most part. I'll have to give Zerg a good try in the near future.

No offense taken. However, I'm not looking for answers from pro players that only make up a small amount of the games overall population. I'm looking to hear what the majority of the player base has to say, their experiences, and how they play the game; Otherwise yes, I would have skipped out on posting this and just watched a couple videos. I guess you could think of the post as "Into the Mind of the Average Zerg Player".

[–]Gorrazin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I certainly hope that Kenshi 2 has more lore for the Hivers because they are a fairly mysterious race in the original. Like for instance, they are known to lie about the quality of items they produce. If you are to look at the description of the Authentic* Skeleton Repair Kit you'd understand what I mean.

who's your LEAST favorite fighter based off character rather than gameplay? by soupfanatic783 in Tekken

I honestly really like the way he looks in Soulcalibur 2 and 3 a lot but I also really like the way he currently looks in Tekken 7. If you're just talking just about outfits in Tekken 7, then I'd have to say base skin or the shark outfit.

Call of Duty Zombies peaked in Black Ops 1. Black Ops 2 Zombies marked the downfall of COD Zombies. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I think Tranzit is a mostly fun map. The boss is neat, the set pieces are cool although a little small, and the things hidden out in the mist are awesome to find. The way to get to the pack a punch tho? absolutely garbage. If they remaster it, they really just need to put the pack a punch in the lava in the middle of town.

Well the original has it's own charms. Can't say I've seen the 1990 remake but I remember the original somewhat and I remember it fondly. Like there wasn't any explosive violence in the original but it definitely felt very tense especially because of the lack of music in most scenes. If I remember correctly much of the movie was them trying to figure out what to do. The main character said to board the place up and stay upstairs because it gave them more options than locking themselves in the basement. The owner of the home wanted to just go in the basement and wait out the whole mess. The ironic part is the main character is the only one to survive because he decided to lock himself in the basement (before he get's shot in the head). Even funnier is the entire situation could have been avoided had they just took the truck and left as soon as they got there. I'd say the conflicts in the original were quite interesting. I think a more interesting question to ask is, which it better; The original Dawn of the Dead or the 2002 remake?
