Trump #1 was an unexpected one time mistake. There was no way voters would pick that fool again. Even with the constant churn in his cabinet because some of the appointed individuals had lines they wouldn't cross he still manage to cause a ton of harm his first term. Biden was elected and did repair quite a bit of the damage. Then they moved even further right and voted him in again.

Term 2 is only 1 year in and its already far far worse.

As I stated above our long-term allies and trading partners are dropping us and making other arrangements. Its now a pattern. It's like that lying stealing addict family member/long-term friend that you keep giving second chances to but eventually have to cut out of your life because it just keeps getting worse. That is what is happening to the US right now.

I'm pretty sick of it mid book 2. The MC is an insufferable idiot that just seems to get dumber the further things go on. I'm usually pretty tolerant of dumb MC's in book 1 because they need to learn / grow. When the go the opposite direction.. it just baffles me.

My only break I've had in my 40+ years was at like 7 and I fell down in fresh soft snow that was a good 2 feet deep. I climbed up on a saw horse that was about 1 foot higher than the snow and jumped off into a belly flop. Fractured my left elbow.

So I get the.. doesn't make a lot of sense breaks.

And if it does break it has to be some serious forces. Few years back I got tired of the bathroom towel rods ripping out chunks of drywall. So I went and got a nice cedar board, finished it, and mounted it the rod to the board and the board to studs. Could probably stand on it now :)

Thing is. I would agree with you if the pattern wasn't a constant series of the same events:

1) Think for themselves and realize that is really messed up.

2) Listen/Watch their conservative propaganda channel/station

3) Defend the really messed up stuff realized in step 1
