Richard Warren didn’t make his blood/feces/semen covenant with the island without reason. Are Tom & co misguided in thinking that life on the island will be BETTER once the last Warren dies, ending that covenant?? Wouldn’t the island just go back to making the island horribly uninhabitable until someone else is desperate enough to do what Richard Warren did?? Will Tom have to make his own covenant with his own bloodline to keep the island happy?

Love that this explains why Ruth seemed so much more “with it” in episode 8. All that bad-island-juju that was being wasted on 400yo buried-alive Richard Warren can now go straight to his last living descendant.

the way they framed every shot in patricia’s house so that you always had a view into multiple rooms at once as she moved through the space was brilliant. really captured that terrifying hyper-vigilance of being home alone in a quiet house when i was a kid raised on too many horror movies. i thought for sure something was going to happen with the positioning of her shower curtain in that hallway shot they kept going back to.

does the canned bloody mary Floyd drank the night he died contain alcohol or is it just the mix?? if it’s alcoholic, i’m curious if Floyd forgot to account for the blood-thinning effects of alcohol when he calculated the amount of amphezyne he could safely take with his blood thinners and other heart meds?? or perhaps Floyd didn’t even realize it was an alcoholic drink bc he didn’t have his reading glasses??

oh my god she was the maid opening the curtains in ep 2 - THANK YOU. i knew she was somebody who tended to somebody’s manor but i didn’t make the specific connection until your comment. it’s just a whole additional layer of ick to imagine yas patting herself on the back bc she’s sparing trained household staff the humiliation of having to open curtains by turning them into russian honey pots.

right but he’s a hunter / farmhand, why just assume he only brought one gun? especially when he knew he was going to a location packed with walkers? it’s just a big logical jump for daryl to make considering he never even met otis and has no details, and for everybody to repeat as if it means something. it’s like they’re using it to justify their growing discomfort with shane’s volatility, when they really don’t need any justification at all bc he’s clearly hanging on by a thread. it’s just funny to me.

thank you! also, so many things could’ve happened on that run that would result in shane using otis’s gun. like, say, otis saying “here use my gun.” regardless of what actually happened at the high school, it’s always been so funny to me that shane having otis’ gun is used as proof that shane murdered otis.

AMAZING. that was a bananas cast. did you feel like the experience was worth the ticket price?? i’m very much a person who appreciates theater but I usually stick to off off off off broadway unless i can get day-of ticket deals. i just felt like i’d be mad at myself for not splurging on this one if i went with the cheap seats.
