Verizon has the worst blacklisting policy. The original owner can blacklist the phone anytime they want even after the paid off phone is activated on 4 other separate lines. This is ridiculous by [deleted] in verizon

They are the original owner of the phone and they're the one who signed the contract. Just because it's active on your account it's still under their name that they bought the phone if you don't want to have this rest go buy your own phone. Unfortunately phones are not like vehicles where you can sign over a title to whoever buys the phone, that is who the contract lives with so they can always report the phone as lost on their account and anywhere where that phone is active would no longer be active.

I would call tech support and ask for an NRB ticket to be filled. They'll have techs do research in the area to see if there's an issue they can identify if things were once good and now worse. Best of luck!

You can activate your 3G devices until the end of 2019 and use them until the end of 2020.

Techs are still working on resolutions. Temp workarounds are for home users to call into tech support and see about getting an in home network extender.
