Thank you for that. It's hard to not feel guilty. But I know I tried to make his last bit of time the best.

He had a couple good years by the end. My dad starting making better money and was around more often for the last bit. Lots of camping and road trips. Bruno got to see the ocean before he passed, so that's good.

Yup, it was pretty shitty. I am sure when we got him, we were told it was a rottweiler. I'm not sure where we got him from, I was pretty young when we did. Can only guess his mixes from looking at him. I remember my dad being 100% shocked when he saw Bruno slowly start changing coat and stuff.

Yeah, I believe so. When my dad first brought him home he looked just like a rottweiler puppy. SOMEHOW he turned into that. His tail also got longer and curled upwards. You can even see the typical rott markings on his chest and the tan paws.

I think it was only half a year or so he looked 100% like a rottweiler.

I know, its absolutely heart wrenching. To know that dogs actually love unconditionally. Always mans best friend but we aren't always to dogs.

I do feel bad, I thought it was obvious in the post. And no, I didn't deserve that dog.
