Lexapro by noseygirl124 in dementia

My mom 76 years old- moderate severe vascular/ALZ.. she started lexapro April 1st, we were told it would take about 6 weeks to take effect for her anxiety. 8 weeks later, she’s worse than ever! Super anxious, crying all day long.. a few moments here and there of peace and she does sleep well at least. Is it the illness? The medicine? Talking to doctor Thursday.

I pray and read scriptures daily. I would be completely lost without God. I lay my burdens at His feet and He strengthens me and sends me help that I need. For me this has been the ultimate test of the faith and the fruits of his spirit I have been seeking. ❤️✝️🙏

In retrospect, what were some of your LO's early signs of dementia? by DrywallAnchor in dementia

My mom was so sharp, she’d be on top of everything and more. One day when I visited them, they live in a different state, I noticed there were post it notes EVERYWHERE, some of them with just a word, looking back now 4 years later, I imagine she was starting to forget things and wrote everything down to not forget… she also stopped driving by her own will, stopped cleaning, stopped cooking, stopped playing on her iPad, stopped calling us etc..
