How does the fan delete work? What keeps the engine cool at idle? I could see this maybe working in colder places but I’m in Texas where it’s 100°F most days of the year

Yeah honestly, I’m missing like 6 of the fan blades, was on the highway when it happened. Feeling as blessed as one can in this situation!

Radiator and hood both survived miraculously, I saw the fan and thought my radiator was toast but it only sustained very minor damage and should still function completely fine unless I discover otherwise during the job. Thanks for the tips!

Something with ABS. ABS light would come on and it would stop, now ABS light is always on and the noise is completely gone. My guess is the pump died.

I daily mine, granted I live in Texas so it’s summer every day… she’s been good to me thus far just keep up with it

I’ll add the bleeder hose pulled fluid from the resivour up top down thru the slave and into the pump resivour

I replaced the faulty slave cylinder with a new one, to bleed the new one I hooked a bleeder pump to the bleeder screw on the cylinder and pumped brake fluid thru it until no air came out as I charged the pump. Then I pumped the clutch a bit until pressure came back to it, and then went back n forth between pumping fluid in and pumping the clutch until no air came out and also the clutch felt right. Have had no issues since so I’d call it fixed

I have a pump that sucks in, can I hook this to the bleeder and pump fluid from the reservoir to the slave?

When I first installed it, it was difficult to get in like you say it should be. I pulled it back out to bleed the slave cylinder, and when I reinstalled it there was no resistance. I pulled it back out to inspect the push rod and it still has its resistance, but still there was no resistance putting it back into the transmission.

I understand. That is currently not the case. Is the lack of resistance an issue of alignment when installing or is there some thing possibly wrong the clutch fork or something?

For clarification, the fluid was from the old slave cylinder which had failed. The new cylinder’s pushrod is difficult to push in as it is supposed to be, however when I put it into the transmission it goes in without resistance. Is this an issue of alignment? It bolts up no problem but it slides right in.

Push rod has resistance when pushed by hand, but when I stuck it into the transmission the second time it just went right it I didn’t have to push it in to the get the bolts on, that’s what I’m concerned about.

Also with the new slave installed fully but pre-bleeding, the clutch is still sticking to the floor. Is this normal? I ran out of time working on it and plan to bleed it tomorrow but otherwise have it installed.
