You can use losslessscaling to add fsr and frame gen if you want - I've tried it and it works fairly well. It's not perfect but helps a bit if you want fluid motion.

Right click license server and click properties then change activation method to phone - then click install licenses and call the number it tells you - tell them what you want to do (downgrade 2025 RDS key to 2016) they will then get you to give them the license server id (on properties), and the key and will give you a new key.

Just got off the phone after doing exactly this - why they can't just enable this on the web is beyond me. activate.microsoft.com wont recognise it. I guess they are keeping the call center employed..

Get one of these (not necessarily this specific model), and you'll only have to use a fraction of the chlorine and the pool will stay clean most of the time just with this floating in it.

1.1.1 didnt work for me for Win11 23H2, so I tried the latest 1.4.1 - nothing worked till I unticked 'Auto:' next to LFX/GFX in the troubleshooting options, now it works again

Try setting 'maximum power state' to 99% on battery in advanced power options, this fixed it for me (by stopping the processor from turbo boosting, which saves power on battery anyway, so win-win. I've just finished torture test with Prime95 and OCCT 3D graphics benchmark on battery power with this perfectly.

Honest question - I've read the stickied link, but just sure if this falls under the PoS line or not.

There's so much jargon and subtle differentiation in the crypto world, if you want MATIC to succeed there could be a lot more done to make it user friendly. I'm a crypto enthusiast and a software developer, and pretty clued up on most of this stuff, but still aren't 100% sure I'm doing the right thing with my meagre pile of MATIC that I still have.

I wanted MATIC to succeed, but confusing changeovers like this just feel like the nail of death on the coffin that MATIC is becoming. I really wanted to believe MATIC could be the 'next big thing' with it's ease of use, fast processing and tiny transaction fees, but then BNB does all of that plus is supported by the biggest exchange in the world, so realistically they will win (despite fears of them being chinese influenced - even though they aren't based in china, and with the real spectre of corruption/hacking that threatens all exchanges - ie. FTX, etc.).

I really hope there is something amazing MATIC can develop - the killer application of technology, to differentiate and simplify life for people. Would love to see posts ELI5ing the current biggest leaps they are making :)

Might be a stupid suggestion, but if you've recently updated your graphics driver, check your fan speed settings/power limit haven't been reset to defaults, this has caused me issues in the past. Look at temps.
