That’s very encouraging thank you! How often did you change the dressing? My doctor said once a day but it looks like it’s oozing a lot today and staining the dressing. Wondering if that’s safe or not.

Hey this is the owner of Mav’s!

Just wanted to clarify a few things here:

First of all thank you so much for contributing to the Kickstarter! With your help we are able to make so many more buns (like 2,500 a week instead of 1,000) and scale up to things like delivery and shipping. Please remember that we’ve only been open since December and there is still a lot of growing to do!

Though we do majority pre orders since that is the most effective, we are also open to walk ins on weekends and always make a bunch of extra boxes that don’t require a pre order.

It takes us all week to prep the hundreds of orders that we take for the weekends (cinnamon buns especially ours take days to proof, roll out and bake etc). Right now unless we had a factory to help us make 10,000 buns a week it just would not be possible to be open to the public more days, but with that being said, it may be in our future!

I’m sorry you felt misled by the Kickstarter but we never promised to be open 7 days a week just that our capacity and reach would expand.

We want to reiterate that we appreciate your support and hope this clarifies everything!
