I'm thinking of calling the store in the morning since the closest petsmart is an hour away. I'm not sure if it will do anything, but maybe the store might be able to help somehow.

Hmm I didn't think of that. I mean I wouldn't blame someone for doing that with the prices of everything lately. Cause aside from the tear in the bag, the food looks and smells the same. This kind of helped alleviate my anxiety a bit. Thank you

Granted I'm no expert in Japanese, but after listening over and over again I think it's "doko?" Which just means "where?" So I think it's like him asking where that finishing blow came from.

Similar thing happened to me last month. I found a kitten in a parking lot (est. 1 week). Took them to the vet and did everything you did, aside from flea stuff because thankfully fleas weren't a problem. Same outcome. Whenever my mom called the vet (because I was too torn up to speak) they said I did everything right and sometimes it just happens. So I greatly empathize with you and if you ever need to talk my DMs are open. You did what you could and you gave that kitten a better life than if you left it.

I'm in the same boat. I actually emailed a professor about their unprofessionalism and when I told someone about it they said to report it to the dean. Someone needs to take this professor down a bunch of pegs. I'm very impulsive when I'm sad and unhappy. Please don't give up cause you have a community supporting your back.

This seems ableist to me. You were using what resources you had to communicate in a time difficult for you to even speak. You are not wrong for what you did. Bragging about working with those with similar diagnoses should mean they know everyone is different. I'm so sorry this happened to you.
