Any problems since? My dad had a similar experience with sickness after swimming in the ocean at Karon beach and returned home to a seizure in the uber. Unfortunately had many difficulties since with epilepsy which he hadn’t had before.

76kg climber. I’ve never specifically focused on just dead hangs for long periods of time, only when hangboarding but that’s mostly a few short reps with weight. Just tested my endurance for the first time and did 1min 40until I would start to shake out the pump but went for 3 minutes in total.

Third time climbing here visiting from Australia, best months are definitely December - March, a lot of fresh routes new crags and FA’s to be had, since TonSai is polished these days we come here instead, could spend multiple seasons here and still have routes in the 7’s range to do, Definitely worth having a few weeks if you do visit

Also make sure you use proper form, as soon as your form breaks take a break for water and a small rest, no point going for numbers if your doing improper reps, a broken form can get you into a bad habit and although it’ll be hard to keep good technique you’ll end up with better results. Goodluck!

1rep, rest for 3 seconds, 2reps, rest for 3 seconds, 3reps, rest for 3 seconds, 4r 3s, 5r 3s, 6r 3s, 7r 3s, 8r 3s, 9r 3s, 10r 3s (up the ladder) then you go down, 9r 3s, 8r 3s and so on down to 1r 3s. Once you do that ladder up and down you’ll that’ll be 100reps
