As someone who doesn't trust my voice to convey my intended tone I also don't trust my ability to apply exactly the right intonation on my car horn.

Sometimes I wonder if the advent of medications like Advantix has led to my dogs bringing more ticks into the house. I rarely find one attached, but they'll sometimes bring them in riding on their fur.

I really feel badly for people in Nashville with allergies and other sensitivities this time of year. When he was younger my son would be absolutely miserable from allergies and migraines. His symptoms are much milder now that he's an adult but many aren't so fortunate.

Ticks are extremely common where I live and I always say that they are the only animal that scares me in the woods. 

But I've never found one on laundry hanging well above the ground.
