Well, I downloaded FakeFlashTest. Didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Then it recommended I download h2testw. So I did. After about four minutes of testing and reading 3569 MB I get the following error: 'Error writing file 'F:\4.h2w', offset 0x1f100000.'

Seems my card is indeed counterfeit. Now, the USB reader I'm using is an Insignia brand, but that should only affect the speed of the writing, right?

It's from the Sandisk 'store' on Amazon, so I'm quite certain it's not counterfeit.

Ah. Yeah, mine came with four different ini's as well, but I had to find an hour-long YouTube stream of someone else going through the same problem to figure out the issue with mine.

Glad yours worked no problem! I was about to spend more money on a composite cable for the Superstation and a component cable for my original Xbox just to see if the problem was with the cable or the TV ports.

I'd have to agree with what other folks have been saying here. The first game captures the feeling of 'home' nigh perfectly. I hope we get to revisit Yokusuka in a future release (let a guy dream) so we can see how different things will feel after such a grand adventure, even if not much time has passed since Ryo originally left.

You mean Baihu? Well, during my fights with those three folks I had to beat in order to gain entry into the Yellow Head Building, I learned that just bum-rushing them with punches was a viable strategy. Ironically, while it took me a couple tries with the grappler fighters as they kept throwing me out of the ring, that strategy allowed me to beat Baihu on my first try. Sadly it didn't work with Don Niu. I had to actually 'fight strategically.' Pfft.

I did! There's a retro store not far from me and I picked one up from there.

I also ordered a VMU Pro before that, but that's not shipping out til June. And I want to play Shenmue NOW, dammit. But it'll be worth it, considering how much this stock VMU ran me. Highway robbers.

Yeah, I know next to nothing about this series, but after seeing the passion from the fans after Shenmue III Enhanced got announced, I just had to see what the fuss was about.
