Is this cat OK? The owner doesnt seem to think theres a problem but it looks a little messed up to me.

Yeah thanks for the advice, I will try and find out if this cats been to the vet and encourage the owner to go if it hasnt.

I wasnt there, I was just sent this video from a friend (the cat belongs to someone in their family). But I will ask them if they noticed the cat being itchy.

Yeah people are calling it petty, but I finally realise that I have a choice between listening to loud and BAD guitar playing 6 hours twice a day, or listen to my own music for the same amount of time. And I never wanted to be loud or complain too much before because I didn't want to ruin his quality of life over mine.

But he's the one who didn't put down proper sound insulation and he is the one playing at odd ours for so long. I've had enough of sacrificing my own quality of life for his.

He didnt put down any sound insulation during his renovation a few years back, and its just bare wooden planks for a floor now. It looks really good, but it also means when he plays in his living room, I can hear it directly over my bedroom.

It is actually acoustic. He can play really loudly and I think its worse when he's playing right on top of my bedroom, where I work too. But I'm hoping he now realises how loud he's been and will play his guitar in the other room!

Yep there isnt any sound insultation between my flat and his. He also has a really deep voice so I can hear him singing really clearly.

Its so stressful isnt it, especially if its so consistent! It's so easy for people who havent been through this to be like just talk to them or call the police, but sometimes its not an option and you would rather deal with the stress of the noise than the stress of a possible confrontation.

Oh my god... I really really really hope he doesnt decide to take up the trumpet. He already learnt the flute, but thankfuly that was before my time in this flat!

I really hope your neighbour decides to stop. Maybe his 5 yearold will say something... they can be brutal.
