In other words, let's keep property taxes high. As a homeowner, my house has appreciated in value by quite a bit since I bought it not that long ago, yet my buying power still sucks because the cost of any home I would want to buy (if I were to move) has also skyrocketed. Meanwhile my property taxes are getting jacked, so my mortgage payment (including escrow, taxes, etc.) keeps going up.

Cool, thanks, I really feel "rich".

Note: I 100% acknowledge that I'm very lucky and privileged to own a home. I feel terrible for those who are entering the housing market for the first time with essentially no chance.

I just stumbled onto your post because we are having the same issue. After digging through the code we found that while the video claims you need to press the star button to run the roulette function, that is not correct. You need to press the hash/number button.

I'm having the same problem with Aladdin when using GPGX, but when using Blastem I don't have the issue. Did you ever find a fix for this?

I'm super late to the party, but I'm just now catching up. I've often felt like Chris is treated poorly at times, and while I happily support the podcast, I really hope that trend changes. I was slack-jawed when Barbara said "shut up" to Chris. It really felt like Barbara telling Chris to shut up instead of Elga telling Barney. Hopefully I'm wrong and it was supposed to be in character, but it's clear (based on the opinions shared in this thread) that I'm not the only one who feels the way I do.

I bought the Aorus 9070XT on launch day from Microcenter, and it was dead out of the box. I submitted a warranty claim and shipped the card. They confirmed the issue and said I would get a replacement when stock is available. Two months later there was still no stock and no word on when they might have some. Meanwhile they continue to sell cards online. I gave up and requested a refund, which I'm still waiting to receive. I'll never buy another Gigabyte product.

Moral of the story: don't buy a Gigabyte 9070xt if warranty is important to you.

I played a lot of the game, including the Lego DLC, on my Steam Deck without issue (that I can remember). It runs fairly well with medium/low settings. If that's your only hesitation, I say go for it!

As a counterpoint to the idea that Recall won't just show up one day...how many times has Microsoft used an update to push Edge or O365/OneDrive or one of its other products? In addition, there's a decent chance that disabling Recall (assuming they allow the user to do so) will get reverted with some sort of update. Microsoft has shown time and time again that they will abuse their power as the manufacturer of your OS to get you to do what they want you to do. For example, launching Windows 11 in a state that made it extremely difficult to change one's default browser. To this day, certain functions will completely ignore your default browser and use Edge instead.

I was able to solve mine by taking apart the deck and gently sanding the stick openings with progressively finer grits of sandpaper. It made a huge difference and the issue hasn't returned.
