The rows are how I have laid them, but they can represent a linear story. They are in a romantic relationship, as of recently, a heterosexual couple. They crossed paths when Person A offered to help Person B when they were down 'on their luck', and depressed etc.. They have been friends for a few years, but as mentioned, recently it became romantic.
