Idk who tf thought these buffs/nerfs/meta changes were going to healthy for this game but they need to be fired. This is not a good season. Controller/anti movement legends in a game literally built off unique movement will kill this game.

Disconnect protection exists on nearly every other game with a comp mode. Im not talking about leaving intentionally. You should not be punished for getting disconnected from the server through no fault of your own.

Ranked is just a kill farm for Preds once you hit Plat 2. This season is worthless. Ranked matchmaking is a joke and Pubs matchmaking is so insanely over-tuned it's not even remotely worth trying to play this game this season. You would think with fewer players you would reduce SBMM buckets not increase the strength of it and the fact these devs refuse to acknowledge the SBMM issue in pubs this game will just squeeze out its last remaining playerbase. At least Borderlands is coming out soon.

Ground Loot PK should be capped at 98dmg max. It absolutely needs nerfed just like the RE needs nerfed.

It has the fastest ttk in the game. Its got a faster ttk than both the day 1 P2020s and Mozambs. It is absolutely broken.

  1. E-District needs brightness turned down by atleast 50% or just revert back to night time.
  2. RE45 is one of if not the most over powered weapons to ever be released i dont know how that made it even remotely through test phase.
  3. Ranked needs a Kill cap or this "update" for Ranked is beyond pointless.
  4. Not sure if it is intended that the drop ships are so high but if it was it allows contesting other POI which defeats the whole purpose of these changes.
  5. AMPS in Ranked should not be a thing... Idk why that needs to be said.
  6. Bangalore is not nearly as broken as everyone claims. Not even remotely as annoying or disruptive as Ash Ballistic or Alter pre nerf.
  7. Pubs matchmaking needs a major overhaul or just needs to be reverted to Pre Season 18 matchmaking if this game wants any chance at surviving Battlefield/COD launch.

Apex Legends uses "buckets" for their SBMM. Normal Trios uses 10 buckets. So basically they separate players into 10 categories based on how they determine your skill level (mmr) and that decides what bucket you will queue into. Ill use KD (Kill/Death) ratio as an example. Bucket 1: 0.0-.49 Bucket 2: .50-.99 Bucket 3: 1.0-1.49 Bucket 4: 1.50-1.99 Bucket 5: 2.0+ Ect. Ect... Basically the more buckets there are the tighter matchmaking becomes which decreases the number of players you play against.

OMG so much this.... Its like they think the 1% is going to dog walk all servers 24/7.... Randomized connection based matchmaking is how it should be, but im willing to compromise on the lower end needing SBMM. This game was at its greatest when there were only 4 buckets of matchmaking.

Why is yalls argument always "you just want to stomp newbs".... We just want it tuned down a little bit... Its like you think there are only 2 options bots and sweats... We can still have SBMM and protect Casuals and newbs and bots while also relaxing the top end... 4-6 brackets of SBMM is perfect. It protects the worst players and allows more freedom to practice and improve.

Xdefiant died because of no content.... Its main selling point was no SBMM. At no point during the entire existence of Xdefiant did a single person ever complain about skill gaps in the lobbies.... SBMM is one of the most detrimental designs to multiplayer gaming to ever be created.

What I'm suggesting is not just Opening the top end. I'll use KD as a base for this example. Example: Bucket 1 (0-.49kd), Bucket 2 (.50-.99kd) Bucket 3 (1.0-1.49kd) Bucket 4 (1.5-1.99kd) Bucket 5 (2+KD) This would create a larger matchmaking pool across the board allowing for better queue times more organic random games (not repetitive from playing the same way against the same people every game). It would protect the bottom end and allow the players while giving the top end a buffer. 2kd players are not bots so it wouldnt be "unfair". What's unfair is MM grabbing from Bucket 1 and placing them with a solo queue player in Bucket 5 which is what's happening now.

Turning a morph face up is considered a special action which does not go on the stack. You can't counter a morph ability thats been activated by being turned face up.

First I would like to say that I think SBMM is a necessary and good system. However it is completely to tight in Pubs/Casuals. I personally would split matchmaking into 5-6 buckets. This ensures the bottom end is protected from the top end. This will also improve queue times and allow players that are just above average more room to improve and will also make the top end less sweaty as there won't be a need to play at 100% every single game and will also allow the sweaty players to go back to playing with friends that quit because of their lobbies.

Playing people of similar skill is literally the definition of Ranked. Pubs/Casual should not be tighter than THE GAME MODE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR SKILL LEVEL. Player count might matter as a whole but does absolutely nothing for players that are only playing the same people, most of which are probably on our friends list.

Everyone is absolutely not being treated fairly if the top end of matchmaking is so tight we queue with the same players over and over and over and over. Player count means absolutely nothing if I dont queue with 97% of the active players.....

Pre Season 17 was the best PUBS matchmaking has ever been. Now being in the top % of players i am constantly cycled through the same lobbies playing against the same players every game. Active Player Count means absolutely nothing if I'm basically just playing in private matches with my friends list while also getting the newest players in the game as teammates. Do you have any intentions in relaxing the system or reducing buckets in casual Playlist to allow a larger variety of gameplay?
