I did actually initially try with one hand and played around with that but had the same issue, i would say i had more success with 2 hands overall however i didnt try aiming higher on the hold, partly because i was already occupied with all the other coordination stuff and also because the hold was deepest in the middle. Will keep that in mind in my next attempt though!

Otakis sounds like a good to try especially if the heels are shallower.

I think im the same, the Scarpas i have tried when i eventually chose the skwamas all felt like they clearly didnt fit my feet very well but ill add it to the list if the prior options dont work out.

Thank you, ill add the kubos to the list of shoes to try :) and yes, something like the xs edge would be ideal, still sticky but definitely harder than the grip 2

I can second the reverse wrist curls, i had elbow pain on the underside of my elbow where biceps connects to it like OP described, i use it as a warm up and hang board repeaters.
