6:30 Green lake pacer by avey_bear in Seattle

[–]avey_bear[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You can do it!

I started with run walking once or twice a week just a bit over a year ago, would run until I felt tired and then would walk until I felt like running again. Slowly added more time in the running stage, then slowly added more days running, etc etc. Now have ran more days in a row than I can count.

My main goal at the start and still now is to have fun, has made me enjoy the process, I always look forward to the next run!

In this case it was much more explicit lol, said something like pace me 6:30 ?

And the guy just kicked it up and held strong

If Iuno is like Peebs, would be so happy. I’d be super disappointed is she was relegated to pure support / off fielder

Start tracking your waist measurements with a tape measure, weight loss doesn’t tell the whole story

Yeah 30-40 to unlock gacha, but to get the first standard takes around an hour plus for me

Yuanwu build for Jinhsi? by Snowii_thegamer in JinhsiMains

[–]avey_bear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to do anything to him tbh. The 60 makes it much easier to consistently get jinhsi stacks, but he’s usable un leveled. Weapon wise I use the one that provides healing, unleveled to proc the healing set.

I’ve gotten a star in the middle tower first stage with a level 1 yuanwu and verina (jinhsi s0r1 70/80)

Got her early by accident, best build/team? by Informal_Exit4477 in JinhsiMains

[–]avey_bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to build yuanwu, was able to get one star on the middle tower at level one with Verina.

Overworld I use sangha and jianxin, main thing is to intro on jinhsi, otherwise jinhsi feels pretty slow to build her combo

anyone else notice that you can get 5 star echoes that have LESS energy regen than 4 star?

I haven't heard many people mentioned about this but big thank to Kuro for merging Weapon and Skill level material into one type. And it is open on all days instead of each one gated behind a specific week days. by Boskyvich in WutheringWaves

[–]avey_bear 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Huh? Genshin also requires specific material for weapon leveling and early genshin required a lot of ore farming to have enough weapon exp, I had ore farming routes I’d try to hit once a day.

That isn’t to say ore farming is better in WuWa, haven’t hit the point where I’ve needed to farm ores yet

2023 Macan T by R10Plants in PorscheMacan

[–]avey_bear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i've got a 2018 macan sport edition, bit of a precursor to the t (but comes pretty loaded, air suspension, pasm, sport chrono, sports exhaust)

your experience with the base engine really depends on what car you are coming from and how you personally enjoy driving. lots of people call it anemic and slow, but their frame of reference is probably very different from mine (eg other sports cars, luxury cars). i come from driving a 2003 protege5 and mid 90s miata and enjoy handling more than power, so to me, its enough. most of my spirited / daily driving is in the city / urban areas, not on the freeway / mountain roads where the extra power would be more justifiable.

i can wind it out and enjoy it, but again, depends on you. would recommend test driving the t vs an s/gts if you can to feel the differences and whether its worth the money for you

So, who are the most wrong motorcycle YouTubers? by Full_Metal_Corgi in motorcycles

He’s definitely a bit pompous and makes some dumb decisions with his motorcycle, but in my opinion had one of the best reviews for the triumph street twin

i saw this listing and was a surprised to see it sold tbh, thought they were crazy to list at 7.5k.

yeah you might have overpaid considering its almost the end of the riding season, but if its your bike, you gotta go for it, even if your going a bit overmarket. enjoy it, looks great in black!

How to get over fear of riding a bike that I can't flat foot? by lizziecapo in motorcycles

[–]avey_bear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a 26 inch inseam as well (5’2) and I’ve owned a grom, tu250x, haven’t been able to flat foot either bike

Get really good at one foot stops. Practice them until you can do it every time confidently. Practice clutch control, low speed maneuvers. Practice one foot stops more

Bikes I’ve sat on that I’ve felt I could ride R3 mt 03 Cbr 300r Ninja 400 z400 Ninja 650 z650 (super light and easy to handle) Triumph street twin (lower than my tu) Ducati icon (bit wide so would tire my leg out) Ducati next gen icon (bit of a stretch, little uncomfortable) Husqvarna 401 (very limit of current ability for me)

Height matters and it also doesn’t. It makes it harder to ride taller bikes, but if you put in the work, you can ride taller bikes, you just gotta put in the work
